Where did we all go?

I myself am quite guilty of not visiting here as often as I used to; not always daily, but for sure a couple time a week. Lately, I've found myself missing this place. So, I've been popping back in.

But, I'm wondering where all our funny stories are, our quirky parenting moments, and even our sharing of frustration when we run into a parenting wall.

School is back in session and so am I. Which might be what brought me back here since summer was so full in so many other venues. This past summer was not like the last, all free and unscheduled to do as we pleased any time of day.

And, this school year is proving to be twice as full with twice the homework, twice the quizzes, twice the extracurricular activities and twice the yearning for perfection. After all, what parent wants to struggle at first and second grade -- especially, when the first time around was a breeze (for me, LOL)?

So, where did everyone go? Will you come back? Please share how you are rounding out your first few months of school and the juggle of it all.

Around the corner are the holidays. And, I'm looking forward to all of us sharing our plans, our ideas, our traditions and of course, our recipes.

Well, time to pull dinner off the stove. Just wanted to pop in and say "Hello" and say, "Will you join me?"

I'm struggling to stay on top of everything else I have going on - my two blogs, my book, my writing course, homework. The usual!

I've often thought of this place, too. In a way, this place holds too many memories of what used to be. It makes me sad that things didn't work out as I'd hoped.
