We Miss You! Let's support each other...

I realize that Grow Together was a sprout off of Root & Sprout E-zine, which was a wonderful resource for all of us to read and share about parenting, as well as a wonderful venue to get paid occasionally for sharing the facts and statistics on things that we found important to make knowledge to other parents.

But, a good value of members of Grow Together never wrote an article. Maybe posted and idea for an article. Probably read some or most of the articles at Root & Sprout...and enjoyed sharing, learning, and on an occasion spilling out our hearts for the best moments and -- the hardest to share, worst moments of our parenting experiences.

I like to think of myself as the perfect textbook parent. And, I can be...I can excel really well at that, day. To. Day.

I have to be honest though. And, this is what I've loved about Grow Together. I have to be honest because as guilty as it makes me feel, I know that there is a parent who will share that I'm not a bad person for feeling frustrated, angered, tired and half-crazy... And, parenting is wonderific, but it can also be tiring, and raging, and crazy-inducing....

We don't judge. We offer support. And, when really courageous? We share an equivalent moment. Whhhoooosh! Knowing on our own that we aren't perfect, but being understood and supported and challenged that we are not alone?

That's what I've always loved about "Grow(ing) Together." We are growing families and ourselves. And, we do it together lovingly, honestly, supportively, and we strengthen each other.

So, Wake up my Peeps? I'm a Mom who needs you. I'm a Mom who values this place and when my frustrations and fears and feelings of overwhelmed hit the wall -- I came back here.

If I need us? I know we all need us? COME BACK and let's raise generations of wonderful people on the foundation that Root & Sprout and Grow Together are all about.
