New Things
We have been trying a lot of new things this week and it has been a fun experience!
A friend of mine in town is trying to put together a women's group to meet a couple of times a month in the evenings. The first meeting, if that's what you call it, was on Tuesday and it was pretty fun. I knew all of the women there but only in passing. So, I got to know them all a little better. I can't wait until the next one!
On Wednesday Mary and I made egg rolls from scratch. It was so fun to cook with Mary and even more fun when we ate them for dinner. Also at dinner we made Jasmine rice, which we always have, except this time we cooked the rice in jasmine tea instead of water. Hmm, yummy.
Last night we had fried okra for the first time. Yum, yum. Okra is so good. I even made my own marinara sauce for dipping, which I have never made before. I will definitely be making that sauce again!
This morning I did my first PTO volunteering at school. Volunteering is fun, and I got to see more of the school than I had before.
Go ahead! Try something new today!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays.
It's not so much the food and the family, although they are both great.
