I wish I could have a "spy cam" somehow build-in to my reading glasses (which I wear most of the time anyway) so I could capture the audio and video of things my son does and says to replay for his grandparents and family that live so far away! I am pretty good with the camera - still photos aplenty at our house - ...seriously, tens of THOUSANDS of prints and digital pictures and he's not even 4!

This weekend it was just the two of us, my DP (dear partner, right? or shall I say S.O. for significant other? Not up on all the terms LOL) Anyway, he is in Japan on a business trip so all attention was on/is on Hayden fully and completely (which I love).

This morning at 4am I felt a little hand on my arm, I opened my eyes to see a small, dark figure at my bedside. No words were spoken. I held out my arms and lifted all 34lbs of him into bed with me as he snuggled in, molded himself to my body (with his Piggy in hand) and wiggled his head under my chin.

I don't know how many mom's/families are interested in adoption or have adopted kids out there but last night I came across a fascinating movie trailer for a DVD coming out very soon called Adopted: The New American Family. www.adoptedthemovie.com

Hard to believe how fast they grow! A few photos from day #1 in the hospital and a few from last Fall...My God! From teenie tiny baby to (practically) grown up (little) boy in a flash. Makes me want to start the adoption process all over again. *SMILE*
