Hello sweet lady!

I was thinking of you today while driving the freeway (I have no idea why you popped into my mind; but, you did).

I have missed seeing you here on GT and am hoping all is well with you, your hubby and grandkids.

Take care,

Karen

We tell children what's right, TV tells them what's "important."
There is a good side ... we just seldom hear about it.

When I was publishing my newspapers, I left the bad news up to the competition (the major media), we covered the good news. If something was exemplary of inspiration to the community, it made our headlines.

Thanks for checking on me! Finally got to the LT and it's late-thirty and I haven't had a chance to read blogs or anything. Great visit with great friends though!

Hopefully, I'll beat everyone up in the morning and have a little time to catch up. :-)

Hi!

LOL

Nothing wrong with that. How funny.

You have so much to share and I think this format will allow you to do that more clearly.

Have fun and I admire your willingness to be open to my offer for feedback.

Hi Queen!

Thanks for letting me know. It is likely a glitch on my end. I wonder if I simply didn't "submit" the comment and then when I left your page, it got wiped off.

Regardless, I had a hunch that you didn't receive it and that is why I double checked.

I am so pleased that you are enjoying the book you won. It was a dream come true in publishing it. It really is a fantastic message for all of us, isn't it?! Not just for young children.

Maddie Moonbeam's Garden is currently sold exclusively on the http://www.maddiemoonbeam.com site and a few speciality shops here in Arizona.

It is great to have your input and insight in this community. The blogs and forums that we've landed on together have been enriched by your contributions.

I trust our relationship will continue to blossom.

I have been asked to write a fiction book, based on my life.

Keep in mind, I have people that will do the spelling, grammar and punctuation. This is a snippet of a chapter.. would you want to read the rest of the story? That was the only way I would even consider it. I am not a writer.... I'm a blogger... and we don't have to spell it right.. you can sound it out.. ha ha..

It's pet hair free sheet night at our house!

Yea,, happens..and it last until cat and dog realize it's clean sheet night and dive into the downy fresh smell of clean sheets two hours before I'm ready to go to bed. The only moment of clean sheets for me is between dryer and bed..which brings me to my question.

You don't have pets and the Grandparents do. Which means, dog or cat hair no matter how hard you try to keep it cleaned up..

Does this present an issue when you take your children to visit. If so.. how would you handle that situatio… Continue

THE PEANUT SPEAKS

Last night about 11 pm, my phone rang. That is not anything new. It's about the time the daughter and I are winding down our day and can really have a conversation. Except this time it was different. She says to me, your Granddaughter has been walking around the house with the phone, saying "Talk Ganga, Talk Ganga" (Peanut's word for Grandma).

Daughter tells me I'm lucky it's only 11 pm. Seems Peanut had done it one other night except it was 2 AM, and daughter refused to call. Keep in mind, Pea… Continue

Grandma is a Telephone!

Many families are spread across the United States. No longer is it tradtional for children to move into the homestead down the road 5 miles, or into the house across the street. Grandparents may not be where they can pop over and see the kids. So, how do you make sure your children know and love their Grandparents.

Cletus and I are in that situation. We live in Nebraska, but our chldren live in Michigan and Kansas. We don't get to see the Grandchildren every week. This is how our children, made… Continue
