Imagine getting an email like this one.... I felt like I got punched in the stomach.

Dear Karen,
This is a cheap and deceptive marketing ploy that I want no further part of.
Don’t bother trying to convince me otherwise, it’ll be a waste of your time.
I hope you sell so little of those bogus packages that this whole campaign ends up costing you money.
Maybe if you had a prod… Continue

Ready vs Willing ...what's the difference?

Last month I was talking with a friend at a yoga retreat and he shared that he was being asked to lead his singles group at church. I responded with an enthusiastic "sounds like you're ready", because based on everything he had said, I knew he could do it.

Matthew looked at me, almost sho… Continue

Be Where Your Feet Are

What would you do if you accidently locked your baby in the car... with the keys?

Guilty! I did it.
We had just mailed some packages at the Postal Annex and while I strapped Ivan (20 mos) in his car seat, I threw my keys in the front seat so that he would stop grabbing for them and wiggling around.

What I hadn't realized, though, was that I somehow locked th… Continue

How did you hear about Grow Together?
Through Root & Sprout -(www.rootandsprout.com)
About Me
Ivan (18 mos) sits on my lap and pokes at the keyboard faster than I can - only his letter combinations never make any sense.

Maddie (12 yrs) sits next to me, at her computer, emailing friends and coordinating the next sleep over. There are just not enough weekend nights!

Grady (14 yrs) is laughing hysterically while reading his Mad Magazine and getting ready to practice guitar. Both are sweet music to my ears.

Mike (my hubby) is tinkering around with his baseball card collection and watching ESPN. Home with us.

Oh wait, did you ask about me?

I am a writer, integrative coach professional and retreat leader.

While our home is constantly buzzing at a high frequency, we are never too busy to wrap ourselves in a blanket of appreciation and laughter.

It is my mission to teach others to rise above their limitations; have compassion for themselves and others; and to trust their inner wisdom. I do this through my work with private clients, hosting Snuggle Deep Retreats, and leading tele-classes.

Hello Karen. I am sorry, I forgot to mention that it is always nice to here of another fellow or soon to be fellow decorator. If your daughter is anything like I was when I was young, she must think about decorating all the time. I bet she gives friends and family advice on how a room would look better if done a certain way. I hope she follows her dreams and enjoys herself while doing it!

Thanks Karen! Looks like we do have a lot in common. In addition, I lived in Scottsdale for a few years - I really enjoyed your State!

Just read your post about 7 Ways to Enhance your Mood - great stuff.

Keep in touch and I'm excited to learn and network with you and others through this community.

Hi Karen,
thank you for introducing me to this site. I am excited about it. My experience at the retreat this weekend is still evolving and spilling over into my household. Olivia and I both learned a lot about ourselves and we are both very thankful! You do great work.
I have a great conversation to put out there, since summer is upon us, now what?
Love you
Robin

I love Debbie Ford! Impressed that you've been invited onto her radio show.

I'd love that opportunity so I can share my unique approach to breaking the divorce news to our children from a conscious, spiritual perspective, as addressed in my ebook, How Do I Tell the Kids about the Divorce? A Create-a-Storybook Guide to Preparing Your Children -- with Love!

If you have any contact info to open that door, I'd sure appreciate it.

Very best wishes to you,
Rosalind

Appreciate your kind words of support. Have so much more regarding divorce and parenting issues to share. Just need to get the tech challenge figured out. Will persevere!

Best wishes,
Roz
