Grow Together

giving kids the roots to help them sprout

About a year ago I started a monthly blog post on my blog called Ability Tuesday. The first Tuesday of each month I share one of my daughter's abilities, not her disabilities. Today is the first Tuesday in March and I would like to invite you to join in. You can either share your child's ability in the comment section or write you own post on your blog. Don't forget to leave the link in Mr. Linky!

Queen Teen's strongest ability is tenacity. Over and over we've heard, "She'll never be able to... she won't learn to..." and over and over she has proved them wrong. You'd think by now they'd learn that no one should underestimate Queen Teen!

I can't tell you how many times I've heard something like this! The only limits our children have is the limits we or other place on them. Way to go Queen Teen!

My son Lucians strongest ability right now is eating some baby food by mouth I am so proud of him after all the tubes and things he has had stuck down his throat. Another accomplishment for him now at 17 months old is getting up on his hands and knee's are physical therapist thinks he will be standing by next week. Yay!

Yay for Lucians! That is so exciting on both counts. Eating has always been an issue at our house, too, but we didn't have the tubes to deal with. I can't imagine how much more stress that adds to it all.
