oh ga. "We" are back in the wheelchair = just because of feeling sick and headache-y. We are staggering doses of Tylenol and Motrin, neither of which she can stay on long, due to potential bleeding problems. This too shall pass!

We are finally at the tail-end of a rough week here, too. My husband was away traveling. At the same time, I started my son on a higher dosage of Adderall, which proved to be a big mistake. Needless to say, emotions were HIGH. I've since switched him back to the lower dosage, and things seem to be evening out some.

Lynn ~ I enjoyed reading you 'Meet and Greet'. I hope your daughter had a nice birthday, despite her missing her friends and getting sick.

Lynn,
I'm sorry you had such a rough day. Sick kids are never fun. Things have been crazy in our house but only because I over scheduled myself. I'm looking forward to the weekend. Hopefully it doesn't rain too much. I hope your weekend goes well.

oh. *sigh* it has been such a 24 hours. Everything is "fine", but that includes vomiting on her new shoes and her new shirt, having a birthday party that she was sad her wheelchair friends couldn't come to (our house has stairs everywhere), and all the usual highs and lows that are part of life with my special girl. G-tube feedings, brushing her teeth for her (against her will), etc.
How is your day going?

Hello I am Kayla I am 24 and from Illinois. I have three beautiful children Lexi is almost 6 Jordan is going on 8 and Lucian is 17 months old. I am also currently expecting another child in November. Lucian was born with esophageal atresia /tef and down syndrome as well as tracheomalacia bronchomalacia, and laryngomalacia. He spent the first 7 months of his life int he nicu and has been in an out ever since this last several months have been the best we have experienced being out of the hospital for everything. He is g tube fed and has to have esophageal dilations. He is a true blessing from god and one of the greatest gifts we could have ever gotten.I am looking for parents that can relate to what i am going through who understand.

Hi all ... my wife and I have been raising a Down Syndrome foster child since she was 10 days old. She's now 15 months and are hoping to adopt her. We need to wait until her mom's parental rights are terminated, which hopefully will happen in March. Glad to know about Wildflowers.

Kathleen,
We can all certainly understand that! Glad you have you.
