What's everyone doing for Earth Day? I'm going to try to spend the day outside, but it looks like there's rain in our forecast that day.

I blogged about this on my website, however, I wanted to share with you because this pretty much sums up one of the reasons why you shouldn't be drinking bottled water...Manufacturers say that bottled water is safe as long as it doesn't get too hot, too cold, etc. This 5 foot high stack of water is sitting outside of our local grocery with full afternoon sun exposure.

Hey Greenies!

Just a heads-up on my Green and Clean Week event going on now over at my blog, Katydid and Kid. There are tips on eco-friendly cleaning as well as tons of contests (total of 15 by Saturday). As you can imagine, I'm exhausted!

Please stop over and visit!

We have well water at our house, and I've never had a problem drinking it. Any sulfur smell is removed by running it through a Brita filter, and it tastes just fine. I never buy bottled water.

I found a great website that makes a strong case for tap water! Check out www.foodandwaterwatch.org and see if you want to take the pledge to Take Back the Tap after reading what they have to say. It's really informative and makes a lot of sense. Estimates are that 40% of bottled water is tap water anyway!

Great group, Julia! I couldn't think of a better person to have started it.
