Well gang, this is a no brainer! Please join me in letting Lis know how much you love and appreciate her. What have you gained from Root & Sprout and Grow Together?

For me, it's been amazing friendships from people all over the country who have encouraged, cried, regrouped and celebrated with me as I've taken on new challenges in parenting, writing and business. If it weren't for Lis, I would never have met Debbie Y., Nova, Kristi, Malia, Stacey K. Donald, Tracey B. and so many others that I admire and respect.

I've always said that being part of Root & Sprout and Grow Together is like moving into an awesome neighborhood without ever having to relocate. I truly believe that!

Lis, I nominate you, also! You have not only given me so much through Root & Sprout and Grow Together, but in my entire blogging career. I found you when you left a comment on how to start blogging at Dawn's Because I Said So blog. You gave great advice then and became one of the first blogs I followed. You taught me about Google Reader, you gave me blogging advice, you sent me to other great writing blog sites, like Confident Writing, you allowed me to guest post on your other blog, you have been there when I've struggled with Peanut and so many other things. You have given me so much that I don't think I can ever repay you. Thank you seems so inadequate. You have a huge heart. I am honored to be counted among your friends. Whatever your next venture will be, I will follow you, again.

When Nova, was telling me about Root & Sprout and Grow Together, I couldn't understand her enthusiasm. What is so great about a web site and what am I going to do there?? I know now, what is so great. YOU LIS. I am so glad I followed Nova's advice to join. Because of YOU and your dream, I have been able to meet some very wonderful people, including yourself. You have brought so many people together.

You are such a kind person with such a big heart. You have made me feel more than welcome here. The world could use a few more Lis Garrett's.

Oh, thank you so much . . . to all of you! This was totally unexpected. :-)

I've been a little down-in-the-dumps, understandably so. Not only have I been feeling like a total failure, but I've been feeling like I let you all down, too. I am relieved you all understand how difficult this decision was for me to make and that you can appreciate my reasons for doing so. I'm floundering right now, to be quite honest. I don't like not knowing exactly what I'm going to do from one day to another. But . . . maybe I should just enjoy it for now. LOL!

What I know for certain . . . this isn't the last you'll hear from me!
