Grow Together

giving kids the roots to help them sprout

Today is supposed to be my "domestic day" at home where I finish all the projects I've started in preparation of the Halloween party we are hosting for the kids and their friends on Saturday.

[Note: I know it is an oxymoron for me to say that I am hosting a Halloween party when I dislike Halloween. But, for the children, :-) ]

It seems my 'To-Dos' are growing and I've yet to check off any of the big ticket items on the list today. Sometimes analyzing and regrouping and remaking the list/s take up more time than just jumping into whatever project lies in front of me and getting it done.

Like the last of the laundry over there. And, the steam mop sitting behind me. And, the Oriental Trading page still open on the LT to order stuff for CCD and advent.

The final lunch preps for cooking at the school tomorrow; the pile of stuff for the school party, and the piling of stuff for Saturday's party.

In between are doctors appointments, dinner dates, and other events and invitations.

So, maybe I'm 'thinking' about it all too much. After all, Sunday will here suddenly and all of the this and that mentioned above will have come and gone regardless of whether or not it got done.

Or, maybe I'm just rambling because I reasoning out what project to jump back into so that I can actually finish a thing or two and call it an accomplishment. Or, is that more commonly known as procrastination? Hmmm, I'm not a procrastinator by nature...but, now I'm beginning to wonder...

What has you thinking on this Thursday?
