If you could totally step our of your comfort zone for an entire day, what would you do?

Well, I typed it in but then I deleted it. See? I can't even get out of the comfort zone. What fun am I?
LOL!

I have always wanted to dance and sing on Broadway. But that would require me actually knowing how to dance, sing, and act! LOL!

Actually, it took A LOT for me to step out of my comfort zone yesterday and press the 'publish' button on my first book . . . to put it out there for everyone to see. I honestly thought I was going to throw up when I did!

I don't really do well with public praise, but I'm learning to say 'thank you' without feeling like I need to add 'but it's not really very good'. I realize I can't please everyone all the time, and whether a person likes any book or not is subjective. However, it's still a very personal experience for me, sorta like inviting the world into my private little space. And that's really scary . . .

I'd go to a party and be the social butterfly instead of the wall flower.

Good one! Maybe I'd do that, too!

Ditto to that one.

I would go rock climbing! It seems so powerful and invigorating in theory but I would never be able to come down because my fear of heights would kick in on the way down or probably the minute I was up and realized I had to get down.

I came close to drowning as a teenager and have never felt comfortable being in a small boat in deep water. Anything more than 30' is okay and I love to sail. My husband got himself [and two sons] a sea kayak last summer. For him I would climb into that small, confining kayak and follow him into open water even if only for a few short moments; it would mean the world to him to share that experience with him.

Hmmm...I would do pole dancing (for exercise, of course!) It looks like it would be a fun and interesting way to get a good workout! :)

For exercise. Sure . . . . ;-)

Carmen - I'm right there with you! I don't even enjoy swimming much in swimming pools. Lakes and oceans are pretty to look at, but they scare the heck out of me!

I'm not sure what would terrify me more: going up, or going down!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It's not so much the food and the family, although they are both great. Its the fact that we have a chance to take a step back and say what we are thankful for and I love that! My list is long, here's…
