giving kids the roots to help them sprout

What is your least favorite chore(s)?

I know mine . . . cleaning the bathroom and scooping out the littler box. With three kids and three cats, you can imagine how, um, disgusting both jobs can be.

We have 3 kids and 3 cats too - and both of those are my least favorite chores too! :)

cleaning the bathtub and keeping everyone's clothes organized. The kids grow so fast and have so many different things for the seasons and we save everything for the next child. It's like a full time job just keeping up with all these clothes!

I find cleaning our children who are not yet capable of using the toilet for their personal solid waste needs is the worst. I didn't realize how lucky we were with our eldest, who was almost fully potty trained before the age of three.

cleaning the bathroom and mopping the floors. Ugh!

Laundry. Nuf said. (I have a cleaning lady that does the bathrooms and no cats, so that's the only reason those didn't make my list.)

I also have 3 kids and 3 cats- I delegated bathroom duty to my husband and trained the cats to go outside.

Sadly, the guinea pig seems reluctant to unlatch her cage, jump down off the table, and use the cat door, no matter what treats I offer her.... So once a week I have to muck out her cage. And yes, I hate it.

I wish we could let our cats outside, Robin. The last one we had was struck by a car. And our oldest of the three was nearly killed by a coyote lurking in the woods behind our house (resulting in a $1000 vet bill!). But all my younger years of owning hamsters and rabbits . . . I hear ya!

I have two - emptying the dishwasher and folding and putting the clothes away. I don't mind doing dishes or filling up the dishwasher but I hate putting the dishes away - same goes for the laundry.

LOL! Me too, Tiffany. In fact, I have to empty the dishwasher now. Blah.

I can add another to my hate-to-do list: bills.

Yesterday I ended up watching my babysitters kids in addition to mine for a total of 6 kids. My dishwasher is really full after feeding those kids. Hopefully my hubby will empty mine tonight before I get home.

3 cats and 3 kids here too. Fortunately for me, my husband does both the bathroom and the litter boxes. My least favorite chore is dusting, which perhaps explains why every surface in my house is perpetually coated with a thin layer of grime.

Dusting? What's that?
