Air Soft Guns
I've been wanting to blog about BPA dangers for a long time and I'm glad I finally did!
My kids want air soft guns. They've wanted them for several years. I know they're "safe" but there's that little line from A Christmas Story - "That'll take your eye out, kid!" - that just keeps shouting in the back of my head.
We live in the suburbs of Detroit on a lot that's about 1/4 acre. My neighbors back patio door is exactly 175 feet from min. It's not like they're going to have the opportunity to set up tin cans on a rail and have target practice. Their friends came over today and brought two - target practice consisted of trying to hit each other. Their next activity was all seven of them crowding around me and begging me to take them to the army/navy surplus store so they could each buy one.
Does anyone have any experience with them? Are they as evil as I think? Yes, we had bb guns as kids, but we used them up in the thumb area (I'm from Michigan!) and never at home.
